This nationally recognised qualification provides the skills and knowledge required for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person to operate on Country, following local cultural protocols and using a mix of traditional and contemporary management strategies.

This course can set you up for a career on Country in a range of roles under broad direction on land and water, including rangers (park, on Country, discovery), tour guides, council workers, land management, bushland management officers, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and heritage officers.

This qualification integrates Aboriginal cultural protocols, and modern technology to ensure preservation of natural and cultural heritage on Aboriginal places ensuring the sustainable management of resources. This qualification empowers students to contribute to the sustainable management and protection of Aboriginal lands, cultural heritage, and natural resources while respecting and honouring cultural traditions and protocols.
