This qualification is for those individuals who are working towards developing and becoming an emerging leader or supervisor within the Civil Construction industry.

By completing this qualification, individuals can gain skills and knowledge in the areas of leading effective workplace relationships, leading team effectiveness, implementing operational plans, implementing continuous improvement as well as specialised units which can be specific to their role and workplace.

We currently provide this qualification via a traineeship, allowing students to have support from their trainer, while being able to apply what they have learnt into their workplace tasks.

Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision reflects the role of employees working in supervisory positions in civil construction. They perform tasks involving a broad range of varied activities most of which are complex and non-routine. They are responsible for the quantity and quality of the output of others, contribute to the development of technical solutions to non-routine problems and apply management plans to the workplace.
