Many people are moving away from petrol and diesel powered cars to new battery electric vehicles — did you know that the sale of battery electric vehicles (BEV) in Australia has increased by 200 per cent in recent years? That means new skills will be required for automotive mechanical and electrical technicians!
Here’s your chance to upskill, or build skills, so that you can work with these new technologies. The new Battery Electrical Vehicle Inspection and Servicing skill set covers the skills and knowledge required for the inspection and service of BEV systems and components in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.
Please note: This skill set is only available if you have completed a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification.
