Our CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability) qualification is a nationally recognised pathway into both the ageing and disability care industry and is designed to develop multi-skilled workers for the broad range of services supporting people with needs within residential and community settings. This dual specialisation has been designed for individuals who want to work in both the aged and disability related fields including NDIS support work. Students who complete this qualification are able to provide support and in person care to ageing and people with disabilities in a variety of settings including people’s homes, residential facilities, day centres and more broadly within the community. Australian Employment & Training Services (AEATS) delivers a combined Classroom and ZOOM delivery program for the convenience of students in front of a live trainer. AEATS offers this program at an average of 4.5 days per week for a period of 17 week before completing an additional 120 hours of workplace assessment. AEATS has a broad range of Disability settings which its dedicated placement coordinators utilise for quality practical placement opportunities. Training will be delivered prominently via live online classes – 2 x 3 hour sessions each week plus monthly practical days.
