You'll gain skills and knowledge required for developing and reviewing budgets for sports programs and activities, analysing participation patterns, coordinating work teams and groups, developing stakeholder relations, working with clients, and health and safety. Your course may also include general administration and community engagement, as well as enable you to focus on specialist skills for specific sports.

You will learn to plan, conduct and evaluate activities of others, deal with unpredictable and non-routine situations and provide leadership and guidance to staff. You will undertake a combination of learning activities such ascoordinating work teams or groups, learning how to address client needs, providing first aid and developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
