The Diploma of Nursing is part of the enrolled nurse registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

Through this training, you'll learn about working as a nurse within the Australian healthcare system, including the ethics and legalities of nursing; performing clinical assessment of patients; principles of wound management; administering medicines and intravenous therapy; supporting patients with mental health issues; monitoring cute and chronic health conditions; palliative care approaches; infection controls; and more! Training includes work placements in a nursing setting.

Marr Mooditj Training offers the HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing. The qualification reflects the role of an Enrolled Nurse working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and covers the application of skills and knowledge required to provide nursing care for people across the health sector. A lifespan approach underpins this qualification, with relevant competencies that relate to the different stages of life identified within the units.
Entry Requirements;
• 18 years of age +
• Photo ID proof of age
• Year 12 Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) or equivalent from another Australian State or Territory, passing in maths and science AND
• Achievement of Exit level 3 in an ACER literacy, language and numeracy test.
• If WACE is not obtained, the minimum requirement is attendance and satisfactory completion of at least 6 years of primary and secondary education taught and assessed in English, including at least two (2) years between Years 7 and 12, as specified in the NMBA language skills registration standard.
• COVID-19 Full Vaccination Certificate.

Our course is delivered two days a week over 18 months with full time practical placement of 480 hours provided in a variety of current industry situations.
